The Word of God
Updated: Sep 20
Understanding what God’s Word is, what it does, and how the believer is called to receive, keep, and live by it.
About This Study

What is the Word of God, and what place should it have in the life of a believer?
This study explores the holiness, authority, power, and purpose of God’s Word. It examines the relationship between the written Word, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, and considers the many ways Scripture teaches, strengthens, corrects, gives wisdom and understanding, reveals truth, and helps us discern what is pleasing to God.
Most importantly, this study challenges us to consider our own relationship with Scripture. God’s Word is not simply something to read or know—it is something we are called to receive, keep, and live by.
